The Review Of The Call Of The Wild

When my fingers flipped the last page of the book named The Call Of The Wild, I wept. The scroll painted with forest, moon and Buck, a main character of this book, was unfolded in my mind.
Buck flashed in the air, like some pale frost wraith, bathing in the moonlight. He was a legendary figure, who had suffered from many catastrophes. He nearly starved to death, for his masters were inexperienced and in the Arctic. At that time, his life was like a candle flickering in the storm. Thanks to Thornton, Buck was capable of casting off the wildness.
Buck devoted to Thornton from the bottom of his heart, but his blood full of wildness moved through his body. The call of the wild from a wolf triggered his desire for wildness. Buck succeeded in hunting a bear and a moose in a crafty way.
It seemed that Buck had untamed energy by instinct. The love of man tied him tightly, which made him in a dilemma.
I thought that the friendship between Buck and Thornton could long live. Out of my expectation, Thornton was killed. When I read this, I burst into tears. Once Thornton was killed, the link between Buck and the world of men was cut.
As for me, this is a sad ending, but sad ending is not sad. I know that Buck was destined to belong to the wilderness. Though Thornton was killed, Buck embraced the unbroken land and played game with his prey.
